Gorgeous charcoal & cream colors. Beautiful contrast. Soft, but tightly woven. Light odor. NO shedding! Stunning in my romantic guest bedroom of charcoal/cream/white/beige, with peachy/coral accents.

The "new rug smell" is fading by the day, and I would agree with other reviewers that the charcoal color is more of a gray/navy. I was concerned that this rug wouldn't be soft enough (being 100% wool), but I am happy to say that it is perfect for bare feet. Also, I have had NO problems as of yet with shedding (also another concern). I think this rug is the perfect pop of design! LOVE!

I was lucky to snag it ..% off, free shipping (took approx 7 business days) I was taken back by the "charcoal" color, as previous reviews mentioned. To me, I was expecting a lighter black...I feel like this "charcoal" is more blue-ish. If that makes any sense...I really love the rug, it's soft and heavier than expected. I will try to accessorize with a blue grey something-or-other to tie everything together.

This rug is fantastic. I agree with the other reviews, this is definitely more charcoal grey than black. The contrast is so warm and feels very high in quality. Ordered and received as promised (8 business days) and even after the hurricane! Great customer service. This is the 2nd of many more rugs I will be ordering from rugsusa.com.
