For years AMS Imports has been the premiere importer of tribal flatweave rugs. Our Jordan Collection is made by Bedouin tribeswomen in their homes high above the Dead Sea. Their designs are the traditional patterns of their nomadic ancestors. From Egypt come handmade Egyptian kleems, and the Peruvian Collection showcases the skill of the expert weavers of Peru who have inherited an ancient weaving legacy from their pre-Columbian ancestors. In additon we are pleased to bring the tapestries of Peru's pre-eminent weaving artist, Maximo Laura, whose stunning tapestries come alive with themes from Andean culture and mythology. From China and Peel & Company come the finest quality aubusson and needlepoint rugs expertly woven by hand. All of our collections are made with the finest quality materials and craftsmanship.
