This product arrived falling apart. Literally! Not due to shipping but rather from poor craftsmanship. The bench top was not centered but the assembler just went ahead and tried to force the screws into the wood where there weren't any screw holes. This caused the wood on the bench to actually separate. Three of the six screws were actually poking out and fell into my hand when I touched them. Additionally one of the baskets was forced into place causing the wood to completely split. Luckily my husband is handy and can essentially rebuild the top and wood glue will fix the wood around the baskets. It would be too costly and time consuming to attempt to ship this back. Tried to call RugUSA on the day of delivery but all I got was a busy signal. (Probably due to hurricane Irene.) The actual bench (once fixed) is ok but the "slide out baskets" are flimsy and won't be able to hold anything with weight. Considering the price this product is overpriced.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
