This product has the veneer of being much higher quality than it is. Very basic construction using pine(?) that seems almost like balsa wood. No slides for the drawers. Worth nowhere near the retail price.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend. So disappointed...This piece is glued together, and not very well. There is a huge gap that shows where the lower section connects to the front leg. It seems as if the whole thing would fall apart if the wind blew. The wood is several times darker than what's shown in the photo. I didn't report the "damange" - or dissatisfaction - within 30 days of receipt, so like it or not, I own it.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend. The piece arrived with a broken leg from shipping. The shipping box itself showed few signs of damage, which I took as a sign that it didn't take a big blow to do the damage. I was surprised at how light and flimsy the material felt. I was thinking balsa wood, but I settled on pine. All in all it's fine, but it doesn't offer the quality I'd expect from the retail price.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
