I was very pleased overall with this bamboo mat. I'm using it as an area floor covering in my kitchen over ceramic tile and it's very stable, providing the extra cushion you need for standing on a hard floor. I was surprised to find out it came with it's own quality non-skid backing. Very good construction and workmanship in the product. It appears very durable. The color might be a little brighter rust shade than the picture makes it look but, it compliments my cherry finish cabinetry quite nicely.
