Description: Dazzling, day-glow colors and kaleidoscopic patterns are the hallmark our Atlas collection. The ultra-plush pile is hand tufted using recycled cotton material repurposed from the garment industry. Bold, contemporary style meets serious sustainability. Hand tufted, multi-color in a diamond pattern Pile: 100% recycled cotton Backing: Cotton and natural latex Rug pad recommended . Minimal, initial shedding is normal. Vacuum regularly. Do not use vacuum with a beater brush unless you can disable the brush or raise it higher than the thick pile. If you cannot disable the beater brush or raise it higher than the pile you should only use suction attachments. Professional cleaning is recommended—especially for difficult stains or heavily soiled rugs. If you choose to clean the rug yourself we recommend Host®, which is a highly rated dry extraction carpet cleaning system which works very well with all rugs. Clean liquid spills immediately. Blot—do not rub—with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. You may spot-clean using a solution of mild dish soap and water but test the solution in a small, inconspicuous area of the rug to be sure there is no discoloration.

I loved this rug when it was brand new, and now that we've had it in our house for a few months, I'd say... I like it. The colors in ours are overall much lighter than the photo -- heavy on the white and gray, which is symmetrical throughout the rug. Love the colors but what I don't love is that none of the fabric scraps were cut on the bias, which means they shed TONS of thread every time you vacuum, and there is an overall messy look to the rug, with strings coming off everywhere. For the price I really can't complain; it's not like this is an heirloom. But it was kind of a bummer the first time we vacuumed. You can minimize the "thready" look by vacuuming parallel to the lines in the rug, but that's kind of a pain. Way too many threads to cut off every time we vacuum -- we are talking many hundreds of threads hanging off each piece of fabric, all over the rug. Overall, it's a decent value but don't think it's going to look beautiful forever... or even a month.RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
