The rug pictured was NOT the rug that was shipped to me. The one I received did not have tassels on it and of course it was not the same color as the one pictured either. What I did receive was a very thick (1/2+ inch) large braid mat that would be better used on the porch, that is if I could open the door without it bunching up and shedding grit every time I stepped on it.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.These are great utility rugs. I bought 2 small ones and use one under my "doggie" door where my dog comes in the house from outside and the other one in my kitchen by the secondary sink. They are great for this purpose. I wanted to use one inside my back door. However, these rugs are too thick to use at a doorway as you cannot open/close the door over them. I'm pleased with my purchase and especially with the service/quick shipping of RugsUSA!!
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.The rug is much chunkier than pictured. I loved the rug just wished it was a thinner rug. The outside edge of the rug is very thick. I was worried my kids would trip over the edge.
