The shag was thinning in several areas. Ie, going bald. For a rug this costly it was unacceptable. Rugs USA took the item back. I sent them pictures and they contacted Chandra and arranged the pick-up at Chandra's expense. Did have some trouble and had to contact them several times, however it appears that it was Chandra, not Rugs USA that was to blame. And Rugs USA later agreed to do the pick-up at their expense, but then Chandra came through finally. Contrary to some of the reviews I read, I think Rugs USA has good customer service. You can reach them by phone or via online chat. I ordered a different rug from them and that one i kept. Just make sure you keep the original packaging and also stay on them because you have 30-days to do the return.

RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
