Kilims are flat woven carpets made in India of 100% wool. These intricate floral designs are faithful reproductions of Eastern European designs.
Vacuum regularly as new wool rugs can shed yarn fibers for up to three months. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors to remove. Clean liquid spills immediately by blotting with cloth or sponge. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
Disappointed with this rug -- color not at ALL as it appeared on-line; was described and pictured as RED, but definitely a dark brownish rust color. Also, rug was very thin. Returning it, but am finding the return process difficult and confusing. After 2 calls to Customer Service I am now clear on how to proceed -- it's a multi-step process that takes several days to get in motion. I am impressed with the selection and prices on this website, but not sure I will order again due to inconvenient returns.RECOMMENDED: No.
colors were wonderful!!! very pleased with rug & delivery needs a pad under itRECOMMENDED: Yes!
The colors are vibrant and true to the representation on line. Just the perfect colors to my entry way. It is not soft and cushy but a Kilim rug is not supposed to be. Definitely invest in a pad. I highly recommend this rug.RECOMMENDED: Yes!
