I?m glad I finally pulled the trigger and bought this rug. I searched for a very long time for an organic rug with these colors, and while it is expensive, I didn?t find anything that came close. The colors in this rug are simply stunning ? very rich reds, plums and raspberries, along with an adobe color, and balanced by some dark brown and khaki areas. Note that what may look like a sage green color on a computer monitor is actually a medium-toned khaki color. The shorter ends of the rug have a half-inch fringe. The rug is wonderfully textured, which reflects the detail of the hand knotting. I?m also happy that it is made with sustainable materials and natural dyes. It is thinner than I anticipated, which is why I?m rating it 4 out of 5. I will have to get a rug pad with some cushioning to it so that we can be comfortable should we sit on the rug. The rug does not shed, but if you wipe it with a damp paper towel, a sight bit of color will transfer to the towel.
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.I had my eye on this rug for a very long time and finally pulled the trigger. I?m so glad I did. There are stunning, intense colors in this rug, balanced by softer shades. The ?reds? include a range of colors from burgundy to plum to cranberry to terra cotta, and they all harmonize beautifully. The ?browns? include a range of colors from espresso to chocolate to beige, all very warmed-toned and not at all dingy or dull. Note that there are no ?greens? in this rug. What may look like green or sage on the computer screen is actually a beige/taupe/khaki color. There is a small fringe on the short ends of the rug. And the detail of the weave is something you can only find in a hand-knotted rug. It really does feel like a one-of-a-kind piece of art. I have bold-colored furniture, paintings, etc. and this rugs work perfectly with everything. It really ties together the dark furniture and red accents in the room. The rug seems very durable and joy, it does not shed. My only quibble is that I wish it was thicker. I plan on getting a rug pad to put under it to give it a bit of cushioning. I?ve only had it about a week, so I?m still stopping and staring at the rug and how it really pulls the room together. Hopefully the color will endure the test of time.
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
