I have been looking for thin rugs to use in the hallways into our house. We have an area that has three doors, two of which are very low clearance. So I needed a runner and two small rugs. When shopping I could not go by the pile height on rugs because I ordered four different rugs from different companies because they said .5 inches or less but none worked. So when shopping don't go by pile height if you need a precise size. Because it will cost you a small fortune like me. But with all that aside this rug is great. It is very thin, can fit under low clearance doorways, it is feels thick, soft and comes in a lot of sizes. I returned it because my husband wanted something that was more traditional looking. If it had been in a red maybe we could have kept it.
