i bought the black and white carpet, though the black is more of a dark gray.

The color of this rug was exactly what I expected and needed. However, for the price, I was hoping for a little more luxe quality, and perhaps scuplturing around the ivory border. It's flat and looks obviously printed. If I did not have such a specific design requirement, a $20 rug from a discount store would have done just as well or better.
