These high quality Shirvan Bokhara area rugs were hand knotted in Russian Turkestan by skilled Turkoman artisan weavers. With a KPSI of over 200 and wool pile on wool foundation, these silky tribal rugs have the famous small, repeating geometric gul elephant foot motifs. These stunning works of woven art offer an eclectic mix of red hues and geometric patterns merged to beautifully complement traditional, classical and transitional home decors.
Vacuum regularly as new wool rugs can shed yarn fibers for up to three months. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors to remove. Clean liquid spills immediately by blotting with cloth or sponge. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
