The white is a true white, not an off white, which is great. Not super soft but it looks beautiful!

The color is slightly brighter than what you see in the photo, but I actually love it. We call it "cookie monster blue." It has a nice, luxurious feel. We have had to wash it already thanks to our dog "christening" it with some regurgitation within the first week of owning it, but it washed up nicely. My only complaint is that it did shed a bit in the wash. Overall, it's a great rug at a good price.

The rug has a white rubber bottom that's not included in the description. Unfortunately, the rug cut was flawed and the bottom shows when the rug lays on the floor. Didn't like that I had to send a picture of the defect in order to return the product. Doesn't seem to coincide with the 30 day satisfaction guaranteee. Depending upon resolution, might order from them again.

I give it 4 not 5 stars because it is an obviously synthetic version of a flokati wool rug, and it sheds (synthetic) fibers. This would make me nervous if my child had asthma or allergies.
