I love the rug it serves two purposes. One warmth because hardwood floors are cooler in the winter, and my granddaughter and I sit on the floor, and do puzzles, and activites together. Second it is a alphabet learning tool it teaches how to recognize the letters, and its a introduction to spelling. My granddaughter is 2 and she told me her rug was very nice and she liked it.
