This rug is a good addition to our playroom. It is colorful and educational. It just isn't that soft or thick.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.I am very happy with this rug. We got it for our two year olds big boy room. We purchased the 5x7 and it's the perfect size for floor play. Nice and big and the colors are perfect for his room. The only reason I gave it a four is that, it does not stay securely in place over the carpeted floor underneath. I am sure there is a fix for that..would be nice if it came with something that makes it stick to the floor. We did not get any padding with this product.

One warmth because hardwood floors are cooler in the winter, and my granddaughter and I sit on the floor, and do puzzles, and activites together. Second it is a learning tool to learn the states and their location on the map. My granddaughter is 2 and she told me her rug was very nice and she liked it.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Looks better in person as far a color goes. I loved it and my boys enjoy seeing wear all our relatives live. It was a great compromise to my husband wanting a road rug to me wanting a learning rug. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that it did come with a stain on it, its not bad though. Also it is thin would have been nicer if it was a little thicker. Shipping was great and took about 1 week to arrive. All in all a great purchase!
