I would recommend this product along with the recommendation of a thick padding as the rug itself is quite then. The colors however are very nice;howeever, it is quite maroon and not red as advertised.

the rug fit great in the room fit in with the furniture only problem was it took about a week for it to lie flat due to the way it was shipped all in all happy with the purchase

"We do recommend that you use a rug pad with this rug. Since it will be going on carpet we suggest the Premium reversible pad. This rug is vacuum safe. "
