I got a super discount on this item due to a Groupon coupon, so for the deal it was definitely worth it. It was more shag than appeared on the picture (I really didn't want to revisit the 70's), but I've gotten quite used to it. As with all rugs, it gives off a bit of a chemical smell, but I know that will fade in time. The rug is SUPER cushiony and feels great under the feet. It doesn't shed at all and my cat loves sleeping on it. The color is accurately depicted, and it arrived in less than a week. Everybody wins!
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.I got this rug with a very 40% off promotion so the price I paid for it will at a big role to how I judge this item, of course. I got a 5' round piece for my kitchen; therefor, how the piece may be cleaned would be my major concern, after the look. The look of the rug is great! I was risking my chance that my boy friend might not like it in such a prominent location of his house, he loved it right away. So was our dog. The qulity of the rug is fine, soft to step on, though can't compare with wool texture look, it serves my purpose well.
