Homefires is proud to present our beautiful line of hand-crafted area and accent rugs. Each rug is hand-made using an ages old technique that has been passed on to the creative artisans of today. Homefires employs the use of various fibers and techniques to create just the right look for our many beautiful designs. Although most of our rugs are made from wool yarns, you will also find some rugs made in cotton yarn and others in acrylic yarns. The choice of fiber is dictated by our desire to achieve a particular color tone, clarity, or intensity. Cotton allows us to achieve a very clean soft tone, wool gives you a rich warm tone, and acrylic fibers can be dyed to create the most vivid of colors.
Please Note: Rug sizes and weights are approximate and may vary slightly from the ones given above. Due to differences in monitors, we cannot be responsible for variations in color between the actual area rug and your screen. This rug is at the foot of my king size sleigh bed underneath a leather ottoman to finish off the room and keep the furniture from sliding on the wood floors. It is exactly what I was looking for and beautiful to boot. My kids actually lay on it and want it for their room.
