In 2000, J Quilts Company offered their first braided rugs. Immediately, the rugs were a huge success. Stores were selling the rugs before the product could even be unwrapped! The demand for the braided rugs grew at an unprecedented rate. In January 2006, the decision was made to change the company’s name from J Quilts Company to Homespice Décor in order to more accurately reflect the core products of the business. Today, Homespice Décor has become an industry leader in braided rugs (outdoor, indoor, wool, cotton), and has expanded line to include Penny Rugs and Rag Rugs.

They make it safer to go up and down the stairs easier. They make my oak steps look wonderful. The width differed on some of them but not real bad.

I purchased these stair treads just over 1 year ago from RUGS USA. They are in a very high traffic area of our house. Its amazing how well they hold up and don't show dirt...not to mention how they protect my stairs. These are a MUST HAVE if you have wood stairs!

I have these in brown on hardwood stairs all over my house. I used the adhesive backing stair installation kit with them, and they haven't budged, even in heavy kid & dog traffic. I was a little concerned that the light-colored rows would look dirty in a heart-beat, but they have stayed looking pretty good. These are a tidy, good-looking way to show off pretty wood stairs, but not have the slipping or noise, and protect the wood.

Very well made, vibrant colors- looked exactly like I expected. Although I did think the treads would be a bit thicker, heavier, they lay well.

I searched all over for stair treds that would compliment our 100 year old farm house. I purchased these in 2006 and am so pleased. They do not 'unravel' and take a beating going up and down a narrow stair way.
