RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.This is a beautiful old fashioned style braided rug that reminds me of my grandparent's house. The colors are rich and slightly darker than the picture shown. However, it is thinner than it looks and the material is not soft to lay on. Definately get a cushion for underneath. It will help with the comfort and life of the rug. This braid is well- made and it will wear well for a long time. I have been looking for a braided rug for my living room for quite some time and RugsUSA had the largest selections I've ever seen! Thousands of choices! The 30 day return policy is a plus. I did order it wrong, because I wanted an 8x10 oval (love the old fashioned look) and somehow ordered the rectangle by mistake. I was going to return it, but I decided to lay it out just to see if it would work. The angles of the weave (sewn and aligned perfectly) stretches out to each corner and gives the rug character. It fills the space beautifully. I love it!
