New York's great landmark, Grand Central Terminal, evokes wonder and fascination for commuters and visitors traveling through it each day. Artist Yuko Shimizu creates a childlike fantasy as the zodiac symbols come alive and children float to the sky to catch a ride.
I absolutely love this rug! I can't tell if this is meant for children or not, but I thought it was such a lovely, whimsical piece of art, I got it for my room anyways. (I am in my 20's.) It's so intricate and creative, I could probably hang it on my wall. It really ties all of the furniture together and is surprisingly soft. (It's not the softest thing I've ever felt, but it's still comfortable enough to sit on.) I love that it's part of the new york subway art campaign, so purchasing this rug helps artists beautify the subway stations. For the price, I think it's a wonderful, fun addition to a home. I highly recommend it.RECOMMENDED: Yes!
