We love this carpet. The one shown here is NOT the red one we got. The red and the gold colors are great and it highlights the furniture in the room better than expected. Love it.

We bought this rug to put under our breakfast nook table. We love it - the colors, the feel of it on our bare feet. But colors in the rug do not look the same in person as online. In person, the rug includes bright, medium and dark greens. On the monitor it appeared as dark and olive greens. Happily, we could be flexible for the area we put ours, but if you're buying this rug to coordinate with particular furniture, especially prints, you might not be happy with it.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.First of all, after I ordered this rug I saw that this company has somewhat of a questionable reputation (search "Rugs USA Complaints"). I thought "Great - I'll never see this rug or my money again." NOT the case at all. The rug came in two weeks, order was correct, and I was charged correctly. So, I suspect as long as you don't special order anything, you should be okay. Can't say I'm too impressed with the rug, though. This isn't so much of a rug as it is a doormat. I guess the adage "You get what you pay for" applies here. I, naively, expected an oriental-type rug - the type you put on carpet as an accent piece to the room. This isn't that at all. It's nothing but a pretty doormat - with cheap fibers, a mesh rubber backing, and rounded edges with piping. Colors are pretty true to the picture. No "plushness" to this "rug" at all - it's for wiping your feet, not decoration. I wish some of the other reviews had disclosed this fact - maybe I'm just super stupid for having such high expectations at this price. Oh, well. Everyone can use a doormat!

The color and style of this rug fit perfectly with my family room decor. It was well bound, and arrived fairly quickly. I had previously bought carpet runners for the hallway and a circular rug for the dining room in a similar tropical pattern.

This rug looks nothing like its picture. The background color is in no way the gray like alabaster portrayed in the photo. It is beige to yellow. the rug looks cheap, and I'll probably end up putting it in a closet or donating it.
