I bought several large area rugs about 5 years ago and have 3 huge dogs, 75 pounds, 100 pounds and 130 pounds. This is an extremely durable rug and still looks brand new. With the dogs, of course, I shampoo these rugs on a regular basis, and they still look fantastic. I'll also add that I'm a polymer chemist. This fiber is the best fiber you can buy, much superior to a natural fiber such as wool. With synthetics, you can get top color durability, all around wear and tear durability and ease of cleaning. Wool is porous and doesn't clean or hold on to color like synthetics. You just can't get the dirt out of a porous fiber like wool, AND, you're probably removing the dyes as you do so. I WAS worried about perhaps poor quality synthetic fibers, but this rug is EXTREMELY durable. It is made from nylon polymers and that is no joke, that's tough stuff folks, look that one up on the internet and you'll see why. This product is also made in the USA and is modestly priced. What is better than that?? NOTHING! I'm back on the site to order another rug, and thought I would write this review.

I had this rug previously only with a green border. I was looking for the same rug and found it on your web site. This one has a burgandy border and it's perfect for my family room. I couldn't believe my luck to find the same rug. I had shopped all over and was unable to find one and just thought I'd give the net a try and Voila!!! Thank you so very much.

I am very pleased as a whole. One suggestion would be to put something on the backing so its not so slipery on the floor.

I like navy and forest green together and it is not easy to find. Many rugs have designs that one can quickly get tired of, not this one.

It is pretty, but not at all
padded. Also, I thought it
had an anti-slip backing and
it doesn't. It will do till
we see what we want.
