I am really pleased with this beautiful rug. I chose it because it will be hard to see wear, stains and dirt on and it's made of an easy to clean synthetic. It's soft enough and just thick enough for my baby to play on--not scratchy like wool. Be warned that this rug had burgundy tones. The binding is burgundy and the brown has specks of the dark reddish hue mixed in with the dark. I couldn't tell this online and was a big surprised when I got it but its still subtle enough to blend in nicely with the tans and blues I've got in my LR.
