This rug is beautiful. The silver which I ordered actually fades to cream at either end of the runner, giving it even more depth.

I ordered two runners in gray for alongside my bed. The photo does imply that there is a sheen to the rug, but there is not. The design is well defined and reminded me of river rocks, which fits well with my modern rustic decor. Quite a bit of shedding, but that's typical for wool. Nice buy for the price!

It really depends on what you want but this rug is not silver in any way. The main part is a flat gray and the little stones are white on the edge and dark gray near the middle. It isn't a bad rug per se, just not the colors I expected when the rug is called "silver". I am sad because I thought I had found just what I was looking for but the white and gray does not go with my color scheme. Quality of rug is fine however.

I'm very disappoiInted that this rug actually looks old and used. Its not half as pretty as it looks in the pic. I bought the silver one and it looks like a dirty grey.
