RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.The red is more wine color than red. They fold the rug to ship rather than rolling it up - that I hate! It's going to take a while to get the oddly placed creases out. I'm going to keep it because it's here and I'm tired of looking, but had I seen it in person, I would not have purchased it. The pile is not very thick. This is a cheap rug. At $458, I paid to much for the quality received. The dye smell is also very, very strong - another sign of a cheap rug.

My Rottweiler loves it in my den. A bit light weight but that might be good for not tripping me on the surrounding wood floor.

More important, the first time it was (very quickly) shipped, the carpet had a weird looming error. Rugsusa stepped up and made sure a replacement was immediately shipped and the original picked up by the manufacturer. Can't say enough good about the rug and the company. I will definitely shop again.

I did have a weird looming error in the one I ordered and as a great testament to awesome customer service at Rugsusa.com, they sent a replacement and contacted the manufacturer to pick the old one up. I had the new rug and they got the old one out in a week. Great rug, tremendous service - I'll be back.
