This rug is much more desaturated and lighter compared this picture. It's a nice rug but something to consider.

This rug is nice, particularly for the cost. (I had a 30% off coupon making it an extremely good deal, but even for the full price its a good buy.) It's not super plush or luxurious, but it looks nice, and seems like it's of good quality. I have only had it for a day, so I can't speak to whether it sheds really, but it doesn't seem like it will. So far so good. The one thing that I would say is that the color in real life is significantly lighter than what's pictured here. It is definitely more lavender than purple. The pattern also is probably less defined than it is in the photo, it looks more like it was digitally designed. I still like it, but if you are looking for a dark colored rug, this isn't it.
