I wanted to write this review since I have been so grateful for others' in choosing a rug. I was looking for a rug in silver (I have a bedroom in Benj Moore Metallic Silver on walls.) I must have been sleepy when I ordered this rug at 2 a.m. -- because in my clarity of the following days -- it looked pretty dreary whenever I pulled it up on multiple browsers ("yuck" would describe it.) So, I almost cancelled the order - but no one was more surprised than me when it arrived! I love the rug! The problem with the picture is that the net can't do it justice. I bought the grey, and the non-background parts ofthe rug are shiny/silky/luster- y like you would see in the silk or viscose accents in a wool rug. So it is all shimmery and beautiful!! The only thing is that it is a THIN rug. But i bought a 1/2" thick rug pad and now I'm really happy. It would have been 5 stars but for the thickness but I still love it! I would say that the grey parts look look shiny silvery (hinting at light blue) and the accents are almost a very light taupe and its all on an ivory/light khaki background.
