Thick and plush. Definitely need a pad to prevent sliding. Good sound muffling qualities for heavy walkers.

This rug is beautiful and high quality, but I am returning it because the colors aren't what I was looking for. I had called to ask, and the helpful Rugs USA customer service rep called the manufacturer to ask about the colors. They said the blue was sky blue, which it is, and the green is sort of a lime green, which it is not. It's a muted green, almost tan, so not what I was looking for.

We purchased the smallest size to make sure it would "go" in our Master Bedroom and I am soooo happy with the result. I will be purchasing a larger one soon. Really Beautiful in person, the green is very light and almost looks almond. AWESOME!!!
