The rug is low pile and not a plush type of carpet. I put a thick carpet pad under it and it is comfy to walk on. Color is a solid black and a slightly off white. Not ivory but not exactly white. However it works well with the other black and white zebra print accessories that I have. Overall this is a great rug for the price and has totally completed the look of my daughter's room. Delivered within 7 days. My only complaint is that it looked like it never shipped on the order status and customer service didn't know it shipped either.
For the money it makes my girls happy. They love it.

They issued a refund a week later and I re-ordered the same rug. It looks beautiful and the price is right. Because of their great service I ordered a third rug for kid's room. RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.i just received my rugs today, i purchased 2 black and ivory 6' round rugs. the monitor shows black and white but i read the previous reviews so i was totally expecting what i received and this is the color i needed in the space. the rugs are thin (and soft) but i'm laying them over carpet so they are perfect for i wanted them for. the edges were curled from being rolled up, but i was able to roll them in the opposite direction and they laid flat. there are a few wrinkles in them but i plan to spritz them with hot water, lay a sheet over them and iron to loosen the wrinkles. would have given a higher rating if i didn't have TO DO SO MUCH TO GET THE WRINKLES OUT. HAPPY with my purchase and the shipping was fast and free!

It was rolled so tightly on the inside edge that the fibers are still separated and make a deep grove where the folds were. Hoping they will lay out over time. Still bubbly a week later, but settling well. Great purchase for the cost. And awesome spectacle in our den. Everyone else was right - if you want true white, this is not your choice. It's a natural cream background - more like the color of a real zebra!

The rug was shipped folded around itself instead of wound around a cardboard tube and was crushed during shipment. Obviously some heavy objects had been place on top of it somewhere in transit. It?s was a very inexpensive rug discounted 30% and sold with free shipping so I can only expect so much. That being said I doubt I would order another rug from Rugs USA. The rug itself is fine. It for my 13 year old?s room where it will suffer unspeakable abuse, food, drink, magic markers, cat hair balls, etc. and we will donate it to Goodwill in a couple of years where her theme changes from jungle to whatever.

The texture is great and yes it's more of a black and ivory than black and white, but that's what you find with most zebra print rugs. I'm actually quite happy that it's not pure white because this rug is going in my family room and I have 2 boys. I've searched everywhere for the perfect zebra print rug and this is by far the best choice for my budget. You are not going to find a better quality rug for the price anywhere else. The texture of the rug is kind of like soft carpet...not really furry, if that's what you're looking for. It's still soft enough though. I'm very happy with the service I received for Rugs USA...thank you so much!!!

It's close to the description except it is ivory/tan not white. But it's a bang-for-the-buck cool rug.
The picture shows this rug as black and WHITE, however it is black and off white/ivory in reality. I was looking specifically for a black and white rug and now I'm stuck with a black and off white rug that does not match my paint. White means white, not off white, ivory or beige. The description and picture should be changed. I am happy with the quality for the price though!
