It is very thick and nice. There were some imperfections in the rug...such as some thread mess ups. It is a nice rug but thought it would be bigger. It looks great in my son's firefighter room.

This rug is gorgeous- high quality, well-made and very detailed. I bought this for my kiddo with special needs, so the thing that caught me off guard was that this is not a flat rug. The border is raised, making it a little difficult for him to maneuver over without tripping.
