We've had this rug for about a month. So far it has shed enough to fill the Dyson 6 times and I'm sure it will shed more. It makes more mess than the dog so when I sweep the downstairs I get about 2/3 rug shed and 1/3 dog hair. I hope it slows down soon or there won't be any rug left. On the plus side it looks great and is better looking in person than the picture. We got the green and it matches everything perfectly. I just really hate the shedding.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.This rug is truly stunning and I absolutely love it. The only complaint I have is that it shows everything piece of paper, fuzz, etc because it's such a dark color and it sheds quite a bit until you vacuum a few times.

Rug does shed, but I assume this will stop eventually. However there are some carpet fibers which appear to be white, as if the dye did not take. This is minor however unless you look closely, it looks like a white piece of fuzz on the rug. I would have preferred to purchase one size larger however RugsUSA does not carry the larger size. Other websites do, but it was not worth the price difference. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Love how it looks! It sheds a lot, have to sweep it everyday. Not a rug to lay on. But I got a great deal and love how it fits with my decor!
This carpet is so well made and absolutely beautiful in person. It looks great in the picture but in person the dimensions are so intense - the carpet is simply stunning and made a huge difference in the look of the room.
