Decided to splurge on the 3000g flokati. I haven't seen the 2000g, so i can't compare, but I can say this one is very thick & rich. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that it seems to shed very little. Definitely needs a no-slip rug mat underneath. Overall very happy with this purchase.
