I recently decided to redo my bedroom, which included repainting, new 5 inch baseboards,curtains and pulling up ugly carpet. I'm a DIYer and put down a beautiful Brazilian Koa floor. I needed an area rug to break-up all of the wood,something lighter in color. I went to a competitor and found a similar rug but it was way out of my price range. This rug is handmade (which I wanted) and is beautiful in my room. The different tones make it more interesting and give it a more textural feel. This rug will give any room a nice addition whether your room is contemporary or country.

This rug is AWESOME! I was nervous about it being rough bc I had a seagrass rug before that I wasn't crazy about, but this rug is so soft, & chunky but lays flat. I put a faux cowhide on top and it looks amazing. Such a great deal- do not hesitate with this one!

The rug is beautiful and very tightly woven. Would not hesitant to purchase another if I had a place to put it.

This rug is very attractive. The big weave is very comfortable on your feet. I have big dogs that use it as a bounce pad from my bed. We have not had any nail pulls. (It has been set up about two weeks) The rug has some 'ends' of the natural fiber which show just a little..where the pieces were woven together, but that does not hurt the look. Great color. It is shedding a little, but not bad...and all natural fibers do some of this.

Amazingly beautiful natural fiber rug. This Rug is soft, smooth, and great for a family room. Doesnt hurt the feet or smell. Id buy one for everyroom if i could!

Love the rug, but was much more "golden" than I had thought. Truly a gold rug which does't work well for the room.

If you have a dog, forget about it. My dog unravels this rug easily every time he lays down. . Every time we vacuum it picks up too. I was really hoping it would be better quality than this :(

Very thick and chunky, natural looking but soft on the feet, really nice rug.

After an extensive search, I selected this rug for my son's room. He has dark antique furniture and hardwood floors. This rug is perfect! The color is warm and brightens-up the room. It looks just like the photo with variations creating subtle stripes. It is very thick and the loops are large but soft. They feel like a massage on bare feet. This is a high quality rug for a very low price. Snap it up!

great rug - looks like Pottery Barn's at a fraction of the price - super reasonable! Will layer it with a smaller wool flatweave, and viola - STYLE!

This was my second purchase from Rugs USA. Both times I have been very pleased with the quick service and the products I?ve bought. I?m impressed with the jute rug. It?s thick, sturdy and is soft on the bare feet. If it holds up well I?m considering purchasing a larger one for an adjoining room. For the money it?s an excellent value and it looks nice against my medium oak stained floors.

We're very happy with our purchase so far. Our townhouse has a 50% coverage rule for floors since we have a unit below us, and we hated to cover up our hardwoods, but this looks amazing and actually makes the room look bigger than the carpet we previously had in the living room (a multi-colored braided rug). We've only had it down for a week or two, but I think it will work great with our kids in the case of spills etc. - I was worried it wouldn't hide the accidents kids inevitably have with food or tracking in mud etc., but there is enough variation in the jute fibers to do that pretty well. We have two small kids & they love the bumpy texture, although it's not quite flat enough for stacking blocks or running small toy cars over - big ones work fine. We just put a tray down on it for blocks, and the cars tend to "ride" along the perimeter. It feels like a mini-foot massage to my husband and I. We purchased a smaller shag rug to layer on top of this diagonally and that smooths an area out enough for blocks also, and again, the kids love the textures, and it really adds a nice finished feeling to the room. The rug fibers can stick onto you but chances are you won't be rolling around on it when you're dressed in your best - and it's easy enough to brush off for what does stick onto you from any floor time with the kids. I haven't seen it all over the house or anything like that either. We're very happy with this purchase. I wouldn't recommend it for a kitchen or dining room however because I think with the large/bumpy weave it would troublesome to clean out on a regular basis for little pieces of food (i.e., whatever our toddler decides to throw off of the high chair tray), and we have an island on wheels that wouldn't roll well on it either. It's also quite thick and likely won't fit under a door if you need to have it where a door will open onto it.

Very high quality, I would say better the rugs at pottery barn, at a fraction of the price. Love it!

I am so happy with this rug. I love the jute and the color. The texture looks incredible on dark hardwood floors. This rug is neutral and would look nice with any decor. I couldn't be more pleased and will order all my rugs from Rugs USA in the future.

Very happy with my jute rug purchase. The rug arrived in only 3 days and it was well packaged and easy to lay down. The quality is the same that you would find in stores like Pottery Barn but at a fraction of the price. The weave is very chunky and it feels very solid. I think it's a great rug for less formal rooms or a summer house.
