RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.I was so encouraged by the great reviews I didn t hesitate to order this rug. Yes, this rug is gorgeous and soft in person. I was in love with it when it arrive and quickly placed it in our living room. That s where the love ends sadly. The quality of this rug is horrible and not made for even light everyday use. We don t have a large or busy family (just myself, my husband and a 20 month old) and the rung was placed in a room we don t spend a lot of time in. However, within a week it was battered and starting to fray in multiple places. Thinking it wasn t a huge deal I trimmed them and was still satisfied. However, after a month, there were snags, pulls, and thread all over the place. It was a disaster! It saw barely three months of use before it was falling apart, not even worthy of being donated. I have had great success with ordering other rugs online but this purchase was a complete disappointment and waste of money!
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.This rug is gorgeous! I love it! It does not shed like the wool ones and it is much more substantial than I expected. The colors are dreamy too. This is my absolute favorite rug I have ever seen. I am so glad I got it!

Note: The beige looking details are darker than the photo shows and looks a little on the gold side. But if you pair it with other dark beige items, you shouldn't be able to notice!

I was holding my breath for it to come, cause I was worried the quality would not be too great. But I love this rug. I put it in my bedroom, and I love walking barefoot on it, and so do my toes! I laid it over my berber carpet, and it is the perfect thickness. Its not too bulky that I am tripping over it, and not so thin that it shifts around all the time. I def recommend it!

It is very soft, the colors are exactly what we were looking for and we love the thickness (not too thin, not too thick). My husband commented that this is a rug he can actually lay on without it being scratchy like our pricey wool rug. It is a great buy and looks great under our beige upholstered bed. The colors are pretty accurate - maybe a tad lighter in person.
