Love the rug. The color is just right. The pattern on edges is not perfect, but does not distract from its appearance.

I'm not sure that I would pay the full price for it, but since it was on sale I'm happy with the value. One edge of the rug is slightly uneven, but its fine because its woven. The rug seems durable and the color isn't too bright. Also, it does not need a rug pad to keep it in place.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Smelled for a coupla' days, and maybe still a little bit, but less and less. Some construction flaws (edge not straight, some loops bulge), but nothing inconsistent with a rug of this type. Will probably buy another one for another room.
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.This is a great and stylish rug for certain rooms. We have it in the eating nook of our 'country' kitchen on top of the original hardwood floor. It's a high traffic area. This rug is great in that it is thinner and more durable. The rubber-ey backing is great as we don't need a liner and it stays nicely in place. There IS a mild rubbery smell that has dissipated almost completely after several days. The color contrasting the blue is a bit darker than in the picture. This is NOT plush by any means, but actually pretty soft for being jute. Great weave and pattern. I have vacuumed it with no problems. No loose weaving or anything. Very happy with it and recommend it for craft rooms, kids room, office or kitchen. I prefer a more plush rug for family/living rooms :)
