NOT CLOSE TO RUST-- Otherwise, this is a good quality rug that I would have been pleased with. The tag on the rug said "red and blue". It was not a bright red, but was closer to a light burgundy. The navy blue was almost black. No mistake, this is the only color the rug is made in, as far as I can determine. The rug is a flat weave, no pile (as the name implies).

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
