I received my order seven days from date of purchase. I bought this rug to replace a wool version that does nothing but leave tufts around my house, so I'm hoping this doesn't shed! My first impression is very favorable: More plush than I expected. The background is definitely cream or off-white, and the brown diamonds are more of a brownish gray, as the previous reviewer noted. The only negative I'd mention is a strong chemical smell: though I was expecting this, and figure it will dissipate in a few days.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Very soft and organic-looking (it's 100% polypropylene, so all- plastic)... I'm using it in our bathroom, and it's a great alternative to a wool rug (which smells when it gets damp). Looks much more expensive than it was. Two huge thumbs up. And the "brown" accent color is much more of a browny gray. In case anyone's trying to match up undertones, I have this in a room with a slate floor and gray cabinets and it works perfectly.
