I'm very pleased with this rug so far. It has a kilm look to it, but it is thicker than one and is great quality. I like it because it looks elegant, but not too formal. You would need a rug pad with this if you use it on hardwood. This rug is not soft and looks to be hard wearing, but it still feels good to walk on. Colors are nice and true to the picture. It brightens up my dark living room. I would recommend this rug especially for the price.
