This rug adds just enough silly and whimsy without being over the top or obnoxious. It references water without the typical screamingly nautical cutesiness. The colors are rich and the ply is tight, but thick so it's comfy AND vacuumable. It makes me smile every time I see it.

SO CUTE! It's actually a deeper and nicer looking purple than what's shown here, which makes it look more expensive. Very plush. Great unique buy!

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Color is a great plum color and it's very soft. I was worried it would be hard where the tentacles are but it's not! Only problem is it pills quite a bit but it comes up easily with a vacuum and it's in a high traffic area!

The rug had a slight smell at first but it was gone by the end of the day. The rug also relaxed quickly, so no curled ends to deal with.
