First off, the rug was beautiful as soon as we unrolled it! We were so excited. The colors are just like pictured. The rug is soft and not too thin. All good things. BUT, if you have dogs or even plan on walking on this rug, skip it! Dog toe nails immediately started pulling up loops after even having it down for an hour. Forget vacuuming it, we have a Dyson, went to vacuum it and the loops in the rug immediately started fuzzing long strands of carpet, which looked horrible. I had to get down with a pair of scissors and cut the fuzz as best as I could. We have to hand clean and use a sticky roller brush. I'm constantly cutting the giant loops and the rug already looks years old after a week. Skip it unless it is going somewhere that it's only seen and not used....

RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
