I purchased this rug about 1 month ago and it's very comfortable and makes the room look great! It's holding up well to daily use and vacuuming.

Our rug is sturdy and appears to be well made. But the color's off a bit; we ordered a lime green rug, and the color we received is more avocado green.

The carpet arrived quickly and at a fantastic price! It looks amazing, and is definitely great quality. My 2-year-old son and daughter love it. We purchased the light green to go with our dark wooden floors, white furniture, and chocolate walls.

Nice color and texture. It takes a while for it to flatten out completely and there is some off gassing but not too bad. The length of shag can still be vacuumed with a standard vacuum. I'd buy another one.

I was pleased to find the rug I wanted at such an outstanding price. THINK TWICE before ordering! Color was not what was represented online and very cheap quality! I am so glad I did not pay much for this rug! Wish some of the reviews had been more helpful. Now just trying to decide whether it is worth the cost to send it back. Even my kids turned their noses up at it. Should have gone with my gut. A closer picture would show the terrible quality.

I put this rug in my bedroom. Is exactly what I wanted. Only thing is that it smells like plastic for the first few weeks, but it goes away, or is masked well by a candle!

I am very pleased with this rug for the price (purchased 50% off). I was worried I would be able to see the backing through the shag but I cannot at all (many reviews for shag rugs listed this complaint). I ordered the grey and it is true to the color depicted. It does have a bit of a sheen to it. I do not have a pad underneath and don't believe it needs one. Shipping was quick. My only suggestion is to have a beige color available in this style as I would have ordered that color.

The rug was very nice. Had a good quality feel to it. Unfortunately I had to send it back. It didn't go with the "theme" of the room where it was intended to go, so I sent it back. Nothing wrong with the rug, I just picked the wrong one. I will be ordering another.

First rug delivered quickly, but was the wrong color. They rectified the situation. They sent a prepaid return label. however i had to start from scratch with ordering it again even though it was an error on their part. Second rug came and was correct, and the rug itself is nice and plush, i would recommend.

The rug I received did not look like this picture. Like another reviewer said, the yarns were so, so sparse. I have never seen a cheaper looking rug. Returning was very expensive, so I will not be ordering a rug online again unless I have seen the rug in person. I very unhappy because the picture is so misleading. I think they should have an accurate picture or pay for the return!

What is pictured is not what is shipped. There was no comparison what so ever. There was nothing shag about the carpet that I received.

This rug was not very "shaggy" and definitely was not as fluffy as pictured. I thought it had flattened while rolled and shipped, so gave it a few days to "fluff" back up - that never happened. For the price, the rug is not terrible, but did turn out thinner than expected.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rug!!!! It is very soft, has a very slight sheen and looks beautiful in my living room. It's white, but a very soft white. It isn't a super plush rug but it IS perfect and not thin at all.

I like the rug, it's easy to vacuum and it has great color (thyme). It still isn't laying flat, but we have only had it for a little over a week. No complaints here!

The rug is perfect for my daughters bedroom. She wanted white which was hard to find. We had ordered from another company and it came dirty and not packaged properly. Very happy! Got this rug at 65% off. Good product for the cost. Not as full as more expensive shaggy rugs, but looks nice and serves its purpose--add a little color and softness to the room. The aqua is very pleasant...not quite as much green as I thought it would have though. More of a medium blue, but definitely more green overtones than red overtones.

I'm very happy with this rug. I've only had it for a month but so far it looks great - vacuums well. It was just want I expected and needed. My only concern was that it arrived on my snowy doorstep and the package was not sealed on one end. It was a little dirty on the end - but luckily it was only on the bottom.

This rug is great quality. The shag is pretty full, though not super thick. I ordered the light blue and it looks more teal. Which works out better for my room, but I wouldn't bee disappointed in that otherwise.

I just replaced my wall to wall carpet with hardwood and had been shopping for some area rugs for my family room and living room. I bought 1 rectangle shag rug from RugsUSA, loved it so much I bought a second, round one for my livingroom. They look and feel their high quality, they are thick and they don't show footprints at all. I love them both!

It is a very nice rug. We unrolled and it laid flat within 2 days. Does not slip on wood floor. It vacuums up without large amount of shedding. I would buy from rugsusa.com again.

After buying the same white shaggy rug from Ikea over and over again for $70, I'm so excited that I found this product on RugsUSA for such a good deal after promo codes. The shipping took about a week (not bad at all) and the product arrived in clear wrapping, not a huge brown box like I had dreaded. I laid it out immediately and of course it needs to settle in (heavy books!) and I was extremely impressed by the quality. Definitely better than IKEA. Again, it's not the quality of a rug over $500 but for this price, it's a steal.

The fibers in this rug are so sparse, I can see holes in the backing. Can't believe this was allegedly an expensive rug. Not soft but very stiff. Looks cheaply made, very disappointed.

This rug was not at all what I expected. My mom and I (I am eleven years old) were looking all over this website for a perfect rug to match my room. We found this one which looked like a perfect, fuzzy rug. W ordered it as a runner while we shopped for other rugs to match it. When it arrived, we took it out to put it on my floor,and we discovered it had a funky smell,along with a dirtyish white color. It was also not "shaggy" at all, much to my dismay. So, we now are shopping again to find an actual fluffy rug so my room can be in style.

I purchased this rug during a 75% off, and happy I didn't pay any more for it when I saw how thick/ soft it was upon arrival. The color (grey) however is spot on for my room. I purchased a rug pad that was as expensive as the rug was to make this rug work. Please be ready to buy a nice (thick) pad for this rug if you purchase.

After reading through all the reviews and realizing that I wanted a decent rug at a good price, I went ahead and bought the 8x10 of the white. I was fully prepared for the smell, the more ivory color, and the thinness. The smell took a day to disappear so that wasn't an issue. The color is still pretty white. Even compared to my white nightstand, it's not that far off. As for the thinness, it is definitely not the thickest shag rug I could've gotten, but it looks really great. I vacuumed it the day after I got it to help ruffle some of the fibers. For the price, this rug is terrific!

Just as advertised. Once we vacuumed it it looked just like the picture. Does have a"hard" bottom though. So if you're putting it on a hard surface (ours are hardwoods) you'll want some kind of pad/underlayment to keep it in place.

It's great. Smelled for about a week, but it's gone now. Very soft, I love the length of the shag, still vacuumable. Color is a little darker and more variation than I thought, but, still works well with my linen accents.

If you are searching for a lush, soft, luxurious rug, this is NOT for you. On the plus side: the rug arrived very quickly and the ivory color is lovely, true to the picture shown. The sale price was absolutely unbeatable. However, you get what you pay for. The rug is thin and it lacks heft. It's so light weight that it wont lay flat at the edge. The pile is short and sparse enough to see the backing. The chemical smell is pretty bad and still strong after a week. The synthetic pile is very yarn-like; it's not super soft or plush. It DOES NOT look anywhere near as thick as the rug in the picture. Actually, it kind of looks like a giant, rough towel. Bottom line: it was very inexpensive and it looks cheap.

Great value for the price. Considering buying another.

This is the second rug I have ordered from RugsUSA. This is a great addition to my house - not as plush as the picture makes it look, but it is soft and arrived fast. Also, make sure you vacuum the rug once it arrives. When you unroll it, the rug is flat and I was a little disappointed, but once you vacuum, it is a completely different look. If something happens to this rug I will not be terribly upset because it was very reasonable for the price and size. I ordered the white which is more of an ivory as someone else had commented. But, I like it a lot and am a very happy customer.

Very happy with this purchase. We did notice the smell that most reviewers noted. It smells like "new carpet smell" and faded with in the first few days. We are happy with the color (definitely bright white) and the thickness of the rug. It is also easy to vacuum! Will be purchasing from Rugs USA again.

This is not a long, shaggy rug, but it definitely feels good underfoot. I ordered the white. It's not a stark-white, but it's definitely not creamy either. It's a beautiful color with a nice sheen. It looks more like long, bound carpet than a "shag rug". My favorite part though, even with two dogs, it's easy to clean! I have run my Bissell Spot-bot on it, and it works fabulously. Looks great in the living room on cement floors. I don't have a rug pad under it, and it still feels great. It also leaves no fluffy dust-bunnies from shedding like my old wool one used to. Fantastic and low maintenance. Things don't get lost in it, and it is short enough to vacuum. A++

looks great in our bedroom. we wanted something neutral yet comfortable when we put our feet on it, and this rug does it!

Loved the size and color but the rug smelled horrible and couldn't even be in our house for 4 days. After we let it air out over the long weekend it was more manageable but still stinks of plastic ( I'm assuming) if you lay or sit on it.

I got this rug to put underneath my bed, so I ordered an 8x10. This fits so nicely underneath my bed and the white shag rug is so chic. Unfortunately my dog has added some dirt stains, I'm hoping I can get them out with a steam cleaner. I also got this rug priced at $559 for $139, such a deal! I wouldn't recommend ordering white unless you don't have pets, or it's in a low traffic area.

We ordered this rug in the white and we are so pleased with our purchase. It's a pretty shade of white, so soft and there was absolutely no smell, as some reviewers mentioned. It fits the room nicely and has been given a thumbs up by all family members--even our 16 month old daughter brings her toys to play on it.

I ordered this rug in grey after months and months of searching for the perfect shade of grey. No shiny, no silvery, not mix with black or other shade of grey. I just wanted a nice crisp solid medium grey and that is exactly what I got! Perfect! I have it in the dining room, i thought might be tricky moving around chairs but not at all. The pile is pretty thick, great quality, has not sheded like my other shag rug. Super soft and cozy! GREAT RUG, GREAT QUALITY. Couldn't ask for better!!!

I just received my rug yesterday...I love it! I was concerned a little about the color because it looked a little more white on the computer. It's a wonderful creamy, very light yellow color. This rug is so shiny! We bought the white and it is a perfect white... the shag is a great soft shag- you wouldn't need a carpet rug for it. But it is so shiny -- I was not expecting that!

I forgot to comment on the description of the colors; especially the "Really Red". Yes, the colors are JEWEL-like and vibrant. The "Really Red" is a RUBY red; bright, vibrant, but NOT toooo bright, yet not dark either; it is a true "Ruby Red"...with that jewel like Ruby color.....perfect. The "Plum", is just that, a perfect Plum; not a purple as one knows purple, but a perfect "Plum" ..absolutely beautiful. I love my rugs...........

I ordered the golden rod and I was concerned it would be too yellow but it isn't at all. It has more of a creamy french vanilla color. It is soft and the right amount of shagginess. I wouldn't pay full price but if you get it on sale I would totally recommend this area rug.

The rug itself seems okay but the color (thyme green) is so different than it looked when I ordered it that it cannot be used in the room I had planned to use it. The color is more like avocado green from the 60's and 70's than the slightly grayish-green shown on our monitor. It will most likely end up in the garage workshop/laundry area.

We LOVE this rug. Ordered a grey one for teenage son's room. The label on the rug says "Bobo Shaggy" which is now what the rug has been nicknamed. It's a personality all its own. Very thick and plush. I'm not quite sure how we will vacuum it due to the very thick shag, but it looks great. Shipping was extremely fast. In fact, it was delivered before I got email notice it had been shipped.

I really like this rug! I bought it for my apartment at school and it is so soft and covers a whole lot of area. It feels amazing on bare feet and it doesn't really move so don't bother getting the stickies for the bottom. I haven't really seen a problem with the thread coming out... yet! But I hope that they won't. Overall, it's a good purchase specially for the price I paid for it since I got a deal from Groupon and I pretty much only paid half of the list price.

This rug is so pretty and so soft. I got the white and it's a nice clean, clear color. Stepping on it, it is soft w/o a pad under it (although I will get a pad), and the fibers are soft, so it's nice to sit on. Everyone who has seen it, really likes it. I got the 8x10 and it's perfect to fit in my sitting room, over hardwood. I needed it to lighten up the room, and it sure did. This is my 3rd RugsUSA rug, and I've been very happy with all of them. 3 for 3!

This carpet looks great! Picture on the site is true to what it looks like in person. The rug is soft on the feet. The delivery took longer than I hoped it wasn't even shipped until 2 weeks after I ordered it on-line. There is a very bad chemical smell, I think this is from the oils or something they use to ship the rug but it is starting to go away it just need's airing out.

This is a good rug for the sale price. We only paid $135 for this rug so for us it was a steal. I would not pay the full price for this but I am happy with it for the sale price. It is a little lumpy still in places after having it laid out for a couple of weeks but I do think it will flatten out eventually. We bought it in white and the color is nice, not too bright white. It isnt the sofest rug in the world but that is reflected in the price.

Great product. Fast shipping. The only thing is that I bought the Gray color and it looked more gun metal (blueish gray) instead of gray. I had to re-adjust the colors in my diningr room due to this but overall the product is very nice and very sturdy.

I'm thrilled with this rug and with rugsusa.com. This was the first time I've ordered from this site, but the descriptions, pictures, and customer reviews were extremely helpful in my comfort level to go with this rug. I ordered this shaggy rug in gray and it arrived in a very reasonable time frame and it was delivered in perfect condition exactly as described. It was a little flat immediately after unrolling, but after a couple of vacuums, it ended up fluffy, thick, and soft. Perfect texture and color for my daughter's nursery.

It looks good but this carpet is not great quality at all. Order an underpad to give it something yummy to step onto or it is just lumpy under foot. **Beware** if you are ordering from Canada the duty and taxes are approx 1/2 the price of the carpet.

Got this during a big sale and what a great value. I ordered the grey color and it's a touch on the blue side, but still very neutral. The pile is thick enough we didn't need a pad. There is no backing so if the rug is on a hard surface and not held down by furniture, you might consider a pad to avoid slipping.

Goldenrod- Just wanted to clarify. I have seen a few other reviewers describe the goldenrod rug as two-tone with beiges which is more what I was looking for. However when it arrived, the rug is definitely only one tone and it is a very pale, almost shiny yellow. WIth that being said, it does look very nice and will work for my room just fine. Mine is for a baby nursery and it contrasts against the white furniture just the right amount. Other than that, the rug is soft and of high quality for the price. I would definitely recommend!

I was very pleasantly surprised when I got this rug...it really is beautiful, I bought the Goldenrod and it does have a shimmer to it, but it's not sparkly, it goes perfectly with my family room. I don't know about the smell, I haven't really smelt it much, I've had it for 2 days now. The color is beautiful, kinda a creamy ivory color and for the price, it was such a deal! Very happy with this rug and it is thick enough, you can't feel the floor underneath and I have no underpad. Very fast delivery, 3 days, I was hit with taxes which I expected since being in Canada and also some charges at the door that weren't the greatest but even with those still a great deal.

It's a shag rug. I think the photos look better than what shows up. The shag is not full - its more on the thin and cheap side. The price is great though so just know that you do get what you pay for.

The rug arrived crazy fast...within 3 days. I ordered the black and white chevron, and I love it! It is a true black and white which is exactly what I wanted. My only issue is that I wish it was a little thicker, with a cushier feel. But, for the amazing price, it is hard to complain!

Love this rug! When I first unrolled it I thought it was going to be real flat but a little fluff and vacuum - it is shaggy good! I put a non-skid rug pad and an actual carpet pad under it so it's really soft and cushy. I'd recommend this rug for sure.

I got this shaggy carpet in RED. It is a brilliant, rather 'cool' red (not a yellow-red) and it fits perfectly for our purpose, defining the dining area. Even though the texture is not the softest, it has a nice, dense weave and feels good even with bare feet.

I ordered the white rug, but read the reviews which indicated it is ivory, and it is indeed "ivory", which was what I wanted. The piles are relatively thick and is perfect for my family room. Did not notice any shedding which is common for new rugs. I love it!!!

The rug arrived promptly and in great shape. The color was true to the description and fit our room perfectly. The length of the fibers is ideal: shaggy enough to be cozy and comfortable between your toes, but not so long and fuzzy that you can't vacuum it with a normal vacuum cleaner. It is soft but not as soft as some others I've felt, hence the 4 rating. That said, I got this rug at an amazing price (huge post-holiday discounts plus free shipping) so I am a happy camper.

I got the tan colored rug, I found a similar shag rug at Home Depot and when I looked online I found this one for half the price and free shipping! If you have wood floors you will definatley need the non-slip mat for under the rug. It looked kind of matted when we unrolled it but after vacuuming it and walking on it for a few days the fibers relaxed and it looked soft and plush like the picture.

I recieved this rug pretty quickly. At the time that i purchased this rug they were out of stock on the size i was originally going to get so i bought two thinking i can just put them side by side to make one big rug and i promise you cant even tell!!!!! i was so EXCITED and the rug itself is beautiful ive gotten alot of comments on this rug. The only thing i would suggest is that you get a pad/cushion for under the rug to make it softer on your feet. Besides that this is a GREAT product! Thanks rugs USA for making this affordable!

What a pleasant surprise - this rug is thick, flufffy and to date no fuzz or shedding. I chose the thyme green color, it is a great grouning color for my living room - pulls it all together. I will be buying another one soon ...... good quality...smell is gone with a little febreeze.

The rug is soft, but definitely not plush. It's on the thinner side as some other folks have mentioned and you can tell it's synthetic. That being said, you can't beat the price. The color of the grey is true to the photo. Shipping was fast and they brought it all the way to the door of my condo. Very pleased overall.

I bought this fun white shaggy rug because of the great price (8x10 & under 250 delivered!) for my daughters newly redone tween style room. it looks great under her bed and adds to the funky decor. This isn't a high-end hand hooked wool rug, its basic, man made which wards off those wool allergy issues. This works great for the light usage it will get and it's easy on my budget!!! Def suggest it for low traffic area.
