Love the rug! exactly the color I wanted. Of course the shag sheds in the beginning but this is totally normally for this type of rug. Very happy with my purchase!

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.We wanted a large area black shag rug. We ordered this rug in 10 x 13 in Onyx. We are extremely disappointed wit hthis rug because the Onyx color is really a very dark brown (not black) and completely clashes with the rest of the room decor, and the rug is not as soft as we were hoping for in a shag rug. We do not recommend ordering this rug.

I got the 10' x 13' Eggplant one for my bedroom and it looks great and the color is exactly what they show in the picture online. The thing about shipping, it's free which is great, but I live on the 3rd floor of a condo and they won't carry the 75 pound rug up the stairs for you so that's one thing to keep in mind.

I was first told that it was on backorder; however, I received these rugs within a week and was very pleased with the service. I have since had occassion to call Rugs USA to inquire about additional products and got fast answer and polite service. My only negative, and it is minor, the color of these rugs is not a true Navy Blue, but has a Royal Blue cast. Overall. Excellent.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.This is a beautiful rug - we got the 5'x8' in navy. It took exactly 2 weeks from placing the order, to receiving the rug from UPS. I wasn't aware of this company's poor reviews until after I ordered the rug, so needless to say, I was very worried if I would get the rug or not, but it came! We were able to find a coupon code to use on the Rugs USA website, which saved a bit of money - making a very great deal! We use this rug in our toddler son's room, and bought a thick carpet pad from a local home improvement store to put under it, making it a little more cushiony, since it sits over hard wood floor. The rug has nice, long shag (about 1.5 inches or so?)... & its very soft (with the thick pad underneath). The shag material is a combo of what seems to be "regular" carpet shag, plus a "braided" type shag. I only wish this rug came 6' wide, instead of just 5'. You will definitely need to buy something to put under this rug, since it is backed with a soft material, causing it to be slippery when used alone on a wood floor. Overall, a great buy and we are very happy with it!

It's more of a dull blue/green. I will keep it though because it works well enough and I'm sure it would be difficult to replace with the pretty tiffany blue I'm looking for, for the same $

This rug is decent for the price. I ordered the gold color it looks exactly like the harvest gold rug my grandparents had in the 70's. Not the look I was going for so it's being returned. The picture shows a much tighter loop and even though it's described as shag, the loops appear to be more look dread locks than a shag rug.

We love it - it feels especially good under bare feet - the cushioning it gives is just what we were looking for. The cat is also a big fan.
