I bought this rug in sage so I should have known it wouldn't look like the picture, which was a vibrant "spring" green." I also know that the colors may differ from the picture, but this was so completely different. It is very muted and on the yellow-brown side of sage. The pattern is very pretty but just doesn't show up. Two friends described it as boring but I think in a sage-colored room it would be understated but pretty. I have to send it back as the color just doesn't work with my furniture, which is more of a blue-sage.
