I absolutely love this rug. The color was like the picture and perfect for my room. It was a good quality, heavy weight. The leather shag pieces smelled great and the leather smell soom disipated. A few of the shag pieces came off but nothing more than normal. Love love love it!!!!

It is mostly "milk chocolate" colored from a distance, yet has pieces of leather that are tan, dark brown, almost black, and others that are gray. And the price was fantastic. No way that I could have bought it locally at this price.

It is in a bed room where there is little movement, therefore it in a heavy traffic hard and you can still see the piece coming loose.

The only draw back is it's not as soft as I thought from the photo, hoping in time with traffic that this will soften under foot. I got this one in my fav color purple & it worked well within the color scheme of my bedroom. The loud leather smell did go away after a while, & I love the look...very unique (like me!) I haven't had it long enough to see if it "sheds" as some others report but it is very cool and unusual and I know will be a be a conversation piece. The leather strips are soft but overall it is a little lumpy - not in a bad way - just soft lumps. I only wish it was a little bit darker grey. The color is pretty light. Overall I love it!

Love this leather runner. I put it inbetween my dinning and living room. Very rich and earthy looking. RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.This is a well made, beautifully shaded leather rug. I chose red which is shades of red, dark pink and brown. It smells like leather. It IS leather. The hardest thing is to keep it clean. I use the dusting attachment on my vacuum and suck the dust and cat hair off the top. The larger stuff sinks to the bottom and every couple months I get a couple of strong men to shake it out. If some of the leather strips fall off, just glue them back on. I love my rug!!!!

This is a GORGEOUs, well made leather rug. I got the burgandy which is shades of dark red, dark pink and a little brown. Very well shaded and blended and I think it looks like dark raspberry. It does smell like leather (it IS leather. It does lose strands of the leather---but I just glue them back on. I vacuum mine with the dusting attachment of my vacuum but it shows NO dirt. I LOVE mine and for anyone who wants a little bling in a room, this is for you. Highly recommended!!

My only concern is the leather pieces don't seem to be very secure. I'm a little afraid to walk on it because it seems like the pieces will break off easily. However, this kind of rug is meant to be marveled not laid on, or walked on very much. I put it in my living room area where there will be little traffic because I have an adjacent lounge area where most of the socializing takes place.
