Liked the rug - the print was larger than I expected it to be, but still looks great. The backing is a hard latex that seems to be fine on our hardwood floor. It is fairly thin and I can see that a pad underneath would be nice.

The "purple" version of this rug isn't really purple. In the photos and from a distance it appears to be light purple. In person you can see it is shades of pink and blue yarns that combine to look purple, but from far away-not when you are standing on it. I wish it were made of solid purple yarn. Also it is stretched crooked by a few inches-not a perfect rectangle. My husband thinks he can pull it straight. If you are particular this is not for you.

The rug was supposed to be white and yellow only. But, there were green fibers defectively in the middle and dark yellow in spots on the edges. Looked horrible. Poor quality and not worth your money. I reported it immediately and thankfully was able to return it without having to pay for return shipping.

RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
