Love this rug. Definitely light color.. closer to creamy white... not creamy tan. My husband says its not as soft / plush as a $1200 rug we have upstairs... but I don't notice a big difference. We end up laying on it with the dog for hours watching TV so its definitely comfortable enough. :-)

I like the rugs ok - they aren't exactly what I wanted but one couldn't tell from the photos online and its not worth it to me to send them back. They look white on here, they are a rather dull cream color. And one of them had small, black, hard specks on them like someone walked on it with tiny bits of tar on their shoe. Really not sure if supposed to be there or not, the other one doesn't have this noticeably. Again, don't feel like wasting time and money exchanging.

This rug exceeded our expectations. We were looking everywhere for a reasonably prices light cream rug. I wes nervous about ordering online, but this is a simple, beautiful wool rug. It does shed, as all wool rugs will, but not excessively. After a few vacuums it should be fine. Recommended.

The rug seems to be good quality, however it is an off-white/beige color and not as white/gray toned as it appears in the image so I'm returning it. Return shipping charge on larger rugs is $59+
