NOT teal. More like dingy emerald green w/grey stripes. Quality is excellent except only 3/8" nap.

High points, I knew this rug would be high quality, it's 100% Semi-Worsted New Zealand Wool and it's hand knotted. It is very soft, however it does not have a very thick pile. So all that was left was finding a nice color. The color of this rug is NOT teal, let me repeat myself, NOT teal. It is what I would consider more of dark dingy emerald/forest green and then it has these dark almost pewter stripes (not even in the same color family). There is no hint of blue in this rug what-so-ever. It is dark green and dark grey. Every picture of this rug on many different sites, including Surya's site, has this rug shown as a beautiful BLUE-green. I could not even adjust the color on my screen to match what they sent. Very dissapointed with the color. If you are looking for a very nice darkgreen and grey rug, this rug would be wonderful.
