The rug is beautiful, but shows wear very quickly. I purchased these rugs 2 years ago and put them in my hallway and laundry room, which are areas I do not categorize as "high traffic". The pile matted down quickly and vacuuming does not bring it back. The cotton backing has also frayed in several places. I am shopping today to replace them. For the price, I cannot recommend this rug. Keep shopping! I hope this helps.
